I was a hardcore BTC/BCH miner and had accumulated many sats from mining. The reality was my operational expenses aka electricity bills were so high, but I had a windful in satoshis as it was climbing so high, and delayed paying my bills.
When the BSV fork happened, I was airdropped 1:1 and decided to liquidate holdings, I accidentally sent 70% of my entire inventory of BTC/BCH to BSV address on Bitfinex, which was different network to segwit – I was never able to recover them, and I still have not recovered since.
I no longer mine, I speculate and buy cat food memes.
